Applicants must be at least 18-years of age and by providing a copy of a government issued identification document(s). *A local (Malaysian) registered mobile number and a Malaysian mailing address are preferred. (Please refer to Q9, Q13, Q14, CARD CANCELLATION and Q2 CARD REPLACEMENT and EXPIRED CARD respectively).

Yes. You can use the Card for purchases at any Visa accepting merchants and you may withdraw cash at any Visa or PLUS enabled ATMs worldwide. This is subject to the availability of funds in your Card Account. *Fees and charges will be imposed accordingly. To avoid any inconvenience, please ensure that you have sufficient funds in your Card Account before usage. For security reasons, it is advisable that you notify us on your travelling plans in advance by calling us at +603 8318 3100, 9am-6pm on weekdays excluding public holidays.
Yes you can. Our Card supports Verified by Visa (VbV) service. VbV is a service that provides a way to protect your Card usage on the Internet. VbV introduces a One-Time PIN (OTP) protection during an Internet purchase to authenticate you. The OTP will be required whenever you use your Card to make Internet purchases or transactions from participating merchants. The requirement of your OTP prevents unauthorised usage of your Card on the Internet, giving you more confidence in making secured purchases online. The goal of VbV is to create the same trust and confidence amongst merchants and customers that exist in a face-to-face shopping environment.
You can use the Card WORLDWIDE. The Card can be used for purchases at any Visa accepting merchants and you may *withdraw cash at any Visa or PLUS enabled ATMs worldwide. *Fees and charges applies. As the Card comes with the Visa payWave feature, it can be used at any Visa merchants that accept Visa payWave payment transactions. This is subject to the availability of funds in your Card Account. What’s more, our MyWorld-CCI Rewards program allows you to enjoy benefits and discounts at over 500 retail chain stores, restaurants and local retailers nationwide – refer to “Rewards Program”.
If the Card Account has insufficient funds, the outstanding fee(s) is accumulated and immediately deducted once the Card Account is reloaded. For more detail, please refer to the Card Agreement.
Protect your Card as if it is CASH! Keep it in a safe place and do not share or divulge your Card number and/or PIN to anyone. It is advisable not to write down your PIN anywhere. If you have, to keep your PIN No separately, away from your Card.
You have three (3) avenues to obtain your latest Card Account availability: Sign-up and/or login via our Website (www.maacards.my) Call us at +603 8318 3100 (9am – 6pm on weekdays excluding public holidays). After hours, the Interactive Voice Response (IVR) will guide you accordingly. With your Malaysian mobile number registered with us, you may SMS us at 36660. SMS message :< MAAC>space
Only for cash withdrawal, the limit is RM2,999.00 per day, subject to ATM’s notes disbursement capabilities. Otherwise, you can spend the amount that is preloaded in your Card Account. However, you maximum Card Account limit at once time is RM10, 000.00.
Your statement of account history is made on the Online Portal. You will need to register for the Online Portal access on our website (www.maacards.my) with the email address provided during application. You can then view and/or download your monthly statement for the last six (6) months. You may request for a *hardcopy statement for up to seven (7) years by calling us at +603 8313 3100 during the time (9am-6pm weekdays excluding public holidays). *Depending on how many months’ statement is your request, statement request fee is imposed based on your monthly statement cycle. This fee will be debited from your Card Account. Please ensure that you have sufficient fund in your Card Account. Please ensure your sufficient fund Card Account before making this request.
You need a PIN for your cash withdrawal at Visa or PLUS enable ATMs worldwide.
Call us at +603 8313 3100 (9am-6pm weekdays excluding public holidays). A new PIN will be mailed to your last known in Malaysia.
A Malaysian mobile number will enable you to check your Card Account Balance via SMS (please refer to Q9). All correspondence from us will only be mailed to your Malaysian mailing address (please refer to Q13, CARD CANCELLATION and Q2 under CARD REPLACEMENT and EXPIRED CARD respectively).
Yes, it is stated on your Card.
Should your Card Account have zero balanced for three (3) consecutive months, your Card will automatically be terminated.

This is prepaid card and it works like any prepaid cards (e.g. Touch-n-Go and mobile prepaid cards), you must first load the funds in your card before use. Once funds are loaded, you can use it at any location that displays Visa logo worldwide.

Call us at +6 03 8318 3100 (9am-6pm weekday excluding public holidays), followed by a written notice via fax or email to +6 03 8318 0761 / email@example.com respectively. Upon receiving your cancellation request, we will terminated the Card and the Card Account Balance will be refunded to you (after deduction of applicable fees and charges) within thirty (30) business days from the date of request by way of a cheque and mailed to your last known address in Malaysia or any other means that we may make available from time to time. For foreigners not based in Malaysia or who will be returning to their home country, we will perform an international transfer to your home country’s bank account. Transfer Fees are chargeable and will be deducted from your Card Account (subject to total funds availability). Our Call Center Agent will contact you to advice on the Transfer Fee to obtain your consent before remitting.
There are two (2) ways: You can only request for a replacement Card by sending a notice in writing or electronic mail to us at firstname.lastname@example.org. Call us at +6 03 8318 3100 (9am-6pm weekday excluding public holidays) to make a card replacement request. A Replacement Card Fee is chargeable. Any balance funds in the Card Account (after deduction of application fees and charges) will be transferred to new Card free of charge.
No, your replacement Card will only be delivered to the mailing address in Malaysia that you have registered with us.
Yes, you can. To request a replacement Card*, please call us at +6 03 8318 3100 (9am-6pm weekday excluding public holidays). * A Replacement Card fee applies.
You will need to purchase a new Card (please refer to CARD APPLICATION). After the registration of your new Card, the balance in your old Card will be transferred to the new Card.
Any balance funds (after deduction of any outstanding fees and charges) shall be refunded to you by way of cheque or any other means that we may make available from time to time. For foreigners not based in Malaysia or who will be returning to their home country, we will perform an international transfer to your home country’s bank account. Transfer Fees are chargeable and will be deducted from your Card Account (subject to total funds availability). Our Call Centre Agent will contact you to advise on the Transfer Fee to obtain your consent before remitting. If we are unable to reach you, the balance funds will be sent to the Registrar of Unclaimed Moneys under the provision of the Unclaimed Moneys Act 1965 (Act 370). Simply look for the VISA PLUS icon at any ATM worldwide and you’ll be able to withdraw from that machine. Select “Credit Card” when asked about which account you wish to withdraw from. Please note that there is a RM10 withdrawal fee per transaction. You will be able to withdraw up to RM2,900 per withdrawal, subject to the limits of the ATM machine. For instance, most Malaysian ATMs limit each withdrawal up to RM1,500. The same limit applies in other countries, for example in London, assuming a forex rate of 0.2, you will be able to withdraw up to £580 (RM2900/5).
eGEN Visa payWave Prepaid Card is a co-brand Card between MAA Cards Sdn Bhd (Visa Card issuer) and Privilege Reward (M) Sdn Bhd (program operator and loyalty program provider). The MAAGIC Visa payWave Prepaid Card is a cashless payment instrument that allows you to purchase goods and services at all Visa accepting merchants worldwide. It also allows cash withdrawal at any of the Automated Teller Machines (ATMs) that display Visa or PLUS logo. As the Card comes with the Visa payWave feature, it can be used at any Visa merchants that accept Visa payWave payment transaction. Fund must be loaded into your Card Account prior to usage. You may only use the Card according to the available funds preloaded into your Card Account. No credit check or bank account is necessary for this Card and it will not be linked to any bank account, as it is a stand-alone Card Account.
A Card Account is a virtual account created after the Card is activated. All preloaded funds will be kept in this account. Please ensure that this account is preloaded with sufficient funds before any transaction is made.

In the event your Card is stolen or lost, you are required to notify us immediately by calling us at +603 8313 3100 (9am-6pm on weekday excluding public holidays) in which your Card Account will be deactivate immediately. A replacement Card will then be issued to you within fourteen (14) business days. *Replacement Card fee applies. For any calls made after office hours or during public holidays, your call will be assisted via our Interactive Voice Recording System (IVR) in which your Card Account will be blocked immediately.

Redemption of Cash Points shall be subjected to the following terms and conditions:- Redemption of the Cash Points can only be made upon the presentation of the Card at participating merchants at the point of payment. The Cash Points can only be accumulated for personal consumption and not accumulated for business and commercial purchases. The Cash Point will not be accumulated due to any fraudulent or unauthorized activities or transaction as determined by MAA Cards. The Cash Points may be accumulated and redeemed only at our participating merchants’ outlets, subject to the terms and conditions mentioned herein. The Card must be valid, not cancelled and/or terminated at point of redemption. If the value of the transaction is more or equal than the available Cash Points, you must redeem the whole, but not in part, of the available Cash Points. The value of the available Cash Points shall be deducted from the value of the transaction and the balanced of the transaction, if any, is payable by charging the same to your Card and not by cash. You are entitled to redeem part of the available Cash Points only if the value of the transaction is less than the available Cash Points. Purchase of our merchants’ products and services cannot be made using both redemption of Cash Points and the balance with cash. No Cash Points will be credited under the following conditions; For sales items, special priced items, promotional items or such non-qualifying items determined by our participating merchants from time to time; or In the event of any breakdown or malfunction of the computer, terminals, communication lines or any other related hardware and/or software; or In the event, the Card transaction is not approved due to whatsoever reason. Upon the redemption and/or deduction of the Cash Points from your account, the Cash Points shall extinguish and cannot be reinstated under any circumstances whatsoever. In the event that the Cash Points redeemed by you are subsequently found to be invalid with reason, the Management will automatically deduct from your account the invalid amount accordingly. In the event you have insufficient Cash Points for deduction, your account will be in deficit. You may continue to accumulate your Cash Points to off-set said deficit. After which, the accumulated Cash Points can be utilized as mentioned herein. The Management will not entertain any adjustment or disputes over the accumulated and/or available Cash Points. Our participating merchants will not carry out Cash Points adjustments for security reasons. The Cash Points shall be valid for thirty six (36) months from the month the Cash Points starts accumulating or such other period as may be determined by the Management from time to time (“Validity Period”). Any unredeemed Cash Points in your Card Account shall immediately be void or forfeited without any refund, extension or compensation whatsoever upon the occurrence of any of the following event: The suspension, cancellation or termination of the Card for whatever reason; or The termination of the Cash Points Rewards Program for whatever reasons; or Upon the expiry of the Cash Points Validity Period.
